The Lonely Navigation
40×50cm. Acrylic on canvas. Originally Painted in March 2024
“This was the first in a series of cowboy paintings wherein the subject matter came from my mind. I taught myself how to draw horses for this painting. I remember making myself motion sick from spinning a horse around in my head. As the painting took shape, the hills slowly began to resemble the Victorian high country, and that setting is now forever linked to this painting for me.”
